Warriors of Mary is a Marian men's community that was formed during regular open formation meetings for men held in Ląd.

The charism of Mary's Warriors is to imitate the virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary in everyday life and to personally entrust oneself completely to Her Immaculate Heart and care, for the greater glory of God, the Church and the victory of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The main goal is our growth in faith, hope and love, for the greater glory of God and the benefit of the Holy Church, as well as forming - in accordance with the teaching of the Catholic Church - to be good Christians and responsible husbands and fathers.

The founder of Warriors of Mary is Fr. Dominik Chmielewski SDB. The spiritual guardian of the Warriors of Mary community is currently Fr. Piotr Pączkowski SDB.

To become a Warrior of Mary, one must go through a formation during a series of meetings organized by the community, both national and regional, and after prior verification, proceed to the solemn entrustment of the so-called Knighthood of Swords, which takes place once a year.

  • » Who can participate in national and regional meetings?
National and regional meetings are always open, so we always invite all men aged 18-50, even if they decide not to continue their formation.
  • » Are meetings attended only by members of the community?

Not only. National and regional meetings are always open to the public.

  • » Am I a Warrior of Mary by participating in national and regional meetings?

No. Mere participation in meetings is not synonymous with being in the community. To be Warrior of Mary, you must go through formation and receive Accolade. Please contact your regional leader for more information.

  • » What about people who live in constant sin (e.g. divorced or in a new unsettled relationship), can they proceed to Accolade?

Such persons may not receive Accolade. However, they can (and we encourage them!) to participate in national and regional meetings.

  • » Can a man over 50 receive the Accolade?

No. From the formative year 2019/2020, only men aged 18-50 can receive the Accolade.
Similarly, only people aged 18-50 are invited to national and regional meetings.

  • » What about Wariors who received Accolade and are over 50 years old?

These people still belong to the community and can participate in both national and regional meetings.

Nationwide meetings

National men's meetings (formerly called ONLY4MEN), organized by the community Warriors of Mary are held periodically (usually every 1-3 months).

They are open. In addition to members of the Warriors of Mary community, people from various backgrounds participate in them. Among us there are husbands, fathers, fiancées, singles, priests from various regions of Poland and the world. From 2021, these meetings are also organized for families.

These meetings are primarily a common Holy Mass, prayer  (rosary, chaplet to the Divine Mercy), conferences, testimonies and time for integration. An important element of integration is going together by bus, which is a pilgrimage in fact.
